LONDON, 30 May 2012 - Private investors can now trade physical gold and silver direct from their smartphones with a new mobile app from BullionVault, reports The Daily Telegraph's personal finance site today.
"BullionVault - a gold and silver market for private investors - has launched a free app for the Apple iPhone and iPad," reports Telegraph.co.uk, one of the UK's top 10 financial news-sites by traffic.
"The technology has been tested with existing account holders," the report goes on. "More than 3,500 people have downloaded the application and have since used it for buy and sell orders worth almost £7 million."
As well as enabling BullionVault users to buy gold and silver live in real-time, the new app also lets you check live gold and silver prices and up-to-the-minute charts as well.
"The strong interest from iPhone and iPad users shows how relevant gold and silver are to investors in the 21st century," the Telegraph quotes Johnny Stewart , head of product at West London-based BullionVault.
