LONDON, 11 April 2013 - BullionVault's head of research Adrian Ash was a guest expert tonight on BBC World, the international TV new channel from the world's most respected news organization.
Speaking in the studio directly with presenter Jamie Robertson - and appearing in the lead item for what was the 10 o'clock news across Europe - Adrian explained how Cyprus's latest bail-out deal includes a plan to sell 10 tonnes of its total 15 tonne reserves.
"That's a tiny amount," he explains - "less than half what BullionVault customers own between them."
More importantly for the gold market, Adrian went on, single-currency treaties stand in the way of any such gold sales by a Eurozone central bank.
BBC World is free to view, and available outside the UK only.
