The Observer: How to Invest Amid Zero Rates

LONDON, 24 July 2017 – The world's longest-running Sunday newspaper, The Observer, today quotes BullionVault analysis on how UK savers can grow their money during this continued period of near-zero interest rates.

"Spreading your savings across a mix of cash, shares and other assets should help to control risk," says the paper's money section, quoting BullionVault director of research Adrian Ash.

"Holding 10% gold, for instance, in a mix otherwise split 60:40 between the FTSE share index and government bonds, would have halved your losses in 2008, the worst year of the past four decades."
