Following US central-bank chief Jerome Powell's speech at the annual Jackson Hole symposium, "Gold initially fell hard," MarketWatch quotes BullionVault director of research Adrian Ash.
"[But] gold had been mirroring the Dollar this week ahead of today's Fed speech, holding firm near the upper-end of its 2022 range in Euros, even as it retreated for US investors."
